Why the HECK does Sonic have a drive thru?!?!?!?!?!? HAHA!!!

Haha.....a few of the ones around where I live have them, but not very many. Just as absurd as the indoor, sit down Sonics.

hahahahahaha...I had never even seen a Sonic til I drove DB out for training in KS. He couldn't believe it we got in fits of laughter sitting waiting for our food it was the most fun I have ever had at a fast food place

ROFL!!!! I went through the "drive thru" one time and it took just as long. :lol I now park and order!!!! LMAO!

It's :quote faster :quote. But that's a bunch 'o crap because it takes just as long, lol. I never use the drive thru, it weirds me out there for some reason. The one across from my house has a newspaper thing in it too, so you can place your order, then drive up and get the paper to read while you wait. At least they know they take forever, lol.

Here the drive through stays open 24/7 but they won't walk up to your car after a certain time. I think its like 10 or 11. Its always made me wonder why people use it before they close though..it takes foreverrrrrr.

i use to work at sonic for 8 months last year

they have the DT, because the times are suppose to be faster they are first priory. like if you were to order

a super sonic cheese burger,fries and a drink(aka the number 2)(lol :yes i have the whole menu memorized except the new items :screwy and :lmao)


you should have it out in under 3 mins in the DT and at the stalls you should have them in 4.:dunno

it doesn't happen often though lol

also if its super busy like free root beer float night(it was so crazy that night!) the drive threw helps for excess cars that can not go into the stalls. (we had a line 4 blocks long that night!)

I get a Large Diet Coke from Sonic everyday.....it's my $1.83 "treat" for getting through another day of teaching. Their ice just makes the drink taste so much better.

Being raised in a small town, high school life revolved around our Sonic.....still does I guess. I just make sure that I don't park on the "cool" side anymore, haha. That sounds so lame.....but truly....there is a "cool" side to park on.

I usually don't tip them.. especially if I'm just ordering drinks.. Drive through's pretty convienent when you're not wanting to sit there and eat in the car.

The drive thru definately takes just as long! If I'm just grabbing a drink or something I'll hit the drive thru. I think it comes in handy at lunch time when places can get very crowded when people are sitting and eating in their car
