what did you "want to be" when you grew up?

I wanted to be either a Soldier or a travel agent.

A doctor...

In the process of reaching my life long goal now! :)

I used to want to be a marine biologist, because I wanted to work with whales and dolphins.

A Marine.

A chemist or a flight attendant. Weirdly different goals.

A Teacher. When I got to high school, I wanted to join the military.

a vet :(. My mom mad it sound horrible so I didn't even try doing it as a career.

A doctor or a singer. Then when I got to HS, I got more realistic and realized I didn't want to spend all that time in school to be a doctor. So then I wanted to be a Nurse Practioner. But then I worked in an ER while in college and realized med field was not the career for me...lol

Lawyer (which im in school for now) or Astronaut! And I still kind of want to be one!! I Love NASA! lol I go there any time I'm on that side of the state!!! lol

An actress.
I dabbled and had some luck in the industry, but I abandoned it too early 'to be more practical'.

Air Force fighter pilot. I had a fourth grade teacher say I could never do it because I am a girl. :sadeyes

I don't think a teacher should EVER tell a student they can't do something, no matter how outrageous.

an olympic gymnast and pediatrician

a teacher but when I got highschool I realized that I wanted to work outdoors not in a classsroom or cubicle.

i actually wanted to be one of the orca trainers @ sea world.
i also wanted to do physcial therapy w/ horses for disabled children
& i wanted to be a tornado chaser.

I wanted to be an olympic figure skater, Navy SEAL (yes, I know good and well women can't be SEALs! I was little!!!)

i wanted to be a writer

I wanted to be a flight nurse in the Army.
Retire after 20 yrs and NEVER get married or have kids.
I also wanted to be an olympic gymnast!


I went into the Army and was a medic.
I have been out for a few years.
I am going to Nursing School this fall.
Will some day go back into the Army.
And guess what???? I have been married for 8yrs and have 3 kiddos :hystericlaugh

When I was a lot younger (like in the imaginary friends age) I wanted to be a teacher. As I got a little older I wanted to be a defense attorney. Then I decided I wanted to deliver babies... such diverse careers. :lol

I wanted to be an astronaut, then a fighter pilot (then I realized I could probably do both), I later wanted to become and orthopedic surgeon....

Fast forward to now and I'm finishing college with a degree in history and no real clue to what I want to do still, am thinking at home daycare may be the best thing for me until DH retires

lol i wanted too be a tornado chaser, i still do..but now that i have kids thats out of the question lol.

lol i wanted to do that too,and im still working on it. i've gotten about 4 stories written out. :)

I wanted to be a famous model. Had the chance and all but I chose to become a mom...((no regrets either))

A Vet, A Hippotherapist (horse therapy for disabled little kids) A country doctor... a writer and either a soldier or in the foreign service.

Funny thing is, more or less, at some point in my life I plan on doing all of them still. :yes :teehee

a movie star or a nurse.....well I'm no movie star but I am working on getting into nursing school.

To be honest, the only thing I've wanted to do since I was little is be a mom! :)
