Do you make them or just get the bundle packs of cloth and use those, do you make the shells? Inquiring minds want to know Debra 05-02-2006, 04:08 PM When my daughter was in cloth diapers, we used Bumkins brand AIO's (All-in-ones). RockstarMom 05-02-2006, 04:14 PM Lulu is trying to explain to me how to make them! We should have her teach a class for us! :lmao Chevy_Gurl 05-02-2006, 04:23 PM :cp Im all for a class on making them but no laughing if mine looks weird RockstarMom 05-02-2006, 04:24 PM Seems easy enough. I must try it. :D Chevy_Gurl 05-02-2006, 04:24 PM I still need to pull my sweing machine out and make friends with it :scared Debra 05-02-2006, 04:26 PM Another brand that I think is awesome is Fuzzibuns! :thumbsup RockstarMom 05-02-2006, 04:35 PM I was looking at this one brand on eBay, Little Lambs, you can use them 8-35lbs, they're adjustable for size. If it's less and easier to make them, than I may just make them. Heather 05-02-2006, 04:36 PM I bought gerber 100 % cotton cloth diapers and diaper wraps. The wraps area plastic shell type thing with velcro to keep it closed. They are a national brand but I've never found them at target or wal-mart. I washed my own. It was no big deal. When I worked at the daycare we used a diaper service. just as convient as disposable ETA I spent $70 on cloth diapers for Lily. If she wouldn't have had toddler diarreah thats all I would have ever spent on her diapers. RockstarMom 05-02-2006, 04:57 PM Yeah, I was figuring the cost for infant diapers and it's going to cost about $80 a month! Having 2 in diapers (even though Gwen's are about $20 max a month) is going to be a lot! $100 a month! :no piggypunkinetta 05-02-2006, 05:31 PM I was looking at this one brand on eBay, Little Lambs, you can use them 8-35lbs, they're adjustable for size. Here is a good place to look at reviews and comments about different brands. http://www.diaperpin.com/diapers/diaperpages.asp I personally don't like happy heiny's. I think the fleece is cheap and it pills badly. I have a jelly bean AIO and it too cute. Kind of bulky but cute and it works. Those are the only two I have bought. Katherine 05-02-2006, 06:31 PM I use GAD's (Green Acre Designs). She has a small operation, but her diapers are GREAT! I have had no problems with them, and she is super helpful! http://www.greenacredesigns.com/ RockstarMom 05-02-2006, 06:53 PM Michelle- I'm going to Lulu's tomorrow, I'll bring back a pattern and directions for you. ;) Chevy_Gurl 05-02-2006, 07:08 PM wooohoo :cp Caimbrie 05-02-2006, 08:57 PM I just can't do the cloth thing but my mom did it... She used a diaper service, that's all I know sorry lol. Scarlett 05-03-2006, 05:04 PM i usr fuzzi bunz, happy heineys and a few swaddlebees ...I love cloth diapers. Scarlett 05-03-2006, 05:04 PM i hated the fit with little lambs and they were huge and bulky... daisyflwr 05-03-2006, 07:33 PM When we have a baby, I plan to at least try cloth diapers. Let us know how they work for you! LilHippyMamma 05-07-2006, 08:51 PM I've used the ones that Lucretia makes, a friend of ours Stephanie makes, fuzzi buns, and wonderoos mostly |
