My husband is going to see one at the Navel hospital tomorrow,so I know they cover it for active duty . Victoria 03-03-2008, 01:13 PM Yes they cover physical therapy! :) AG2Wife 03-03-2008, 01:13 PM no. Chiropractics is considered alternative medicine. Even if your doctor puts in a referral, Tricare won't cover it (I've tried) ~Crystal~ 03-03-2008, 01:18 PM Thanks so much for the information! Jennygirl 03-03-2008, 02:04 PM no. Only some AD members are covered at certain bases, but not for dependents. However, the Chiropractic Care Health Care Program is available to active duty service members (including activated National Guard and Reserve members) at designated military treatment facilities throughout the United States. Family members, retirees and their family members, unremarried former spouses and survivors are not eligible for this program. They may be referred to non-chiropractic health care services in the Military Health System (e.g., physical therapy or orthopedics) or may seek chiropractic care in the local community at their own expense. ~Crystal~ 03-03-2008, 03:47 PM Thanks again everyone! |
