List any and all the ones you know of, have had or any other ideas you have!
I'm planning a special weekend with my husband that'll have a tropical theme to all the dishes I serve and I'd like to look into some drinks that fit this bill.
Don't worry - I know how to play with fire and food :D

Anything with Bicardi 151 layered on top will light on fire
- Flaming Dr. Peppers (mmm yummy)
- here is the best site I could fine http://www.drinknation.com/theme/Flaming
As for tropical drinks
- long islands or any version of a long island (boom boom, adios mther fcker, long beach) if you can't find the recipe for those versions...just ask cuz I know them by heart
- blue hawaiian
- pina colada (of course :P)
- strawberry daquiri
- sex on the beach
- http://www.drinknation.com/theme/Tropical
hope that helps!! I used to work at a bar so I have oodles of information on stuff like this. If you have any other questions just ask. I can make recipe suggestions as well (for instance, put a splash of orange juice on top of the long beach). :)

Thank you!
I like The Flaming Dr Pepper, Apple Passion, Concord, Guro, Hot Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Roman Coffee, Sweet November and Wildfire. LOL - maybe there's something in a name?
What about Glogg? Have you ever heard of it or tasted it? Would this be considered "tropical" or is it quite the opposite? I've had someone tell me about it, before, when she went to Norway to visit family - she says it's traditional over there and I *think* they set it on fire to warm it.
And - is Absinthe illegal in the US?

yeah absynth isn't illegal to have in the U.S. any more. It's illegal to SELL in the United States, but it's perfectly legal to own a bottle. You can buy some from Canada (the non-hallucinegenic one) or you can buy bottles from Europe and have them shipped over.
I've never heard of Glogg, sorry. I'm sure you can research it though!
