I LOVE martinis. Anyone have terrific recipes? A cool thing that we do is we have a martini party. What that means is that everyone brings their own martini glass that they are to leave at the house that the party is at, thus making someones martini glass collection. This is a great housewarming party idea that we have done for 3 of my friends who recently got their own places :)

My martini of choice is:
2 oz. citrus vodka of your choice
1 oz. ruby red grapefruit juice
1 oz. pineapple juice
a splash of tripple sec

2 parts vanilla vodka (i like stoli vanilla)
1 part godiva chocolate liquer
hershy syrup

swirl the syrup all around the inside of the glass first, then shake the vodka & godiva with ice & pour. :D bailey's is optional (i personally dont like it, but a lot of bars use it)

Martini's are my fave. They have excellent ones at Ruby Tuesday.

My fave right now is Pineapple Upside Down Martini

1 part Vanilla Vodka
1 part Pineapple Juice
Splash of Grenadine

1 part godiva chocolate liquer
hershy syrup

swirl the syrup all around the inside of the glass first, then shake the vodka & godiva with ice & pour. :D bailey's is optional (i personally dont like it, but a lot of barsuse it)

i think it's exactly that plus espresso for the espresso martini.... :drool

let me know when your next one is coming up. i have tons of martini recipes. I am a bar and restaurant consulant so I have lots of drink recipes period. just make sure that if you are using vodka, use grain vodka and not potato vodka. it will say on the bottle what type is what...

There is one called the love martini (its sweet) super yummy!

X-rated liquor 1oz
Peach schnapps 1/2 ounce
Cranberry Juice
Float of champagne on top

So u mix like any other martini and strain into glass after you take champagne and poor just a little on top so it floats (poor champagne at the very edge of glass slowly) I like to cut strawberries and float them on top of this martini!
