We finally made up our minds. I went to Ashley Furniture to look at some of the stuff I saw in their catalog while I was at the Nex Home Gallery. I was going to get one that I really liked on the spot but the girl suggested that I go see it in person because Ashley sometimes has cheap stuff. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I went. When I got there, it was SO SO SO cheaply made. It was basically like particle board with maple wood stickers over it or something. It was horrible and they wanted like $800 for it :no

So, Jaxon and I went to Wickes and Ashley and tried out every bed and tested out every piece of furniture they had in the store :lol and finally decided on this one. It was a little bit more than we had anticipated spending but I got the FULL sized bed and this baby is SOLID. It is SOLID SOLID SOLID and heavy heavy duty. So, it's going to last a loooong time. I'm very happy with it!

I only got the dresser, mirror and full sized bed. I didn't get the night stand or the desk or the chest b/c we don't have room for it right now. Hopefully they will carry this line for another year or so and once we get moved I'll get him at least a little night stand. For right now, he'll be fine without it though. Now we just have to get little girly's toddler bed and we'll be all set! Oh, and I still need the mattress and bedding sets for both of them but we'll get those this weekend maybe.

I have the same bed, well almost. We got ours in Great Lakes. It is a nice bed, very solid.

Britt, I can't believe what nice stuff that had at Wickes. Stopping there was so last minute because I didn't even realize that the store was there. Then I saw it and figured I'd give it a shot before going home. I'm so glad I did. They can be a little bit pricey but the furniture looks like it's really made well.
