Does anyone know how much it costs to get this done?

My MIL busted my sewing machine when she was here in November and Conor got it mostly fixed, but the thread keeps getting shredded. We troubleshot the thing to death and now I have to take it in.

I had to take my serger in to have them put on a upper looper and for them to retime it cost me $30. I'm sure it took them all of five minutes to fix. Can you go to the makers website and see if there is a local shop that can fix it. I took mine to a place over by you. I can't remember what it was called.

I took it. They have to send it out and it'll be a week before they get back to me about how much this is going to cost me. :(

They didnt give you a quote? I still dont think it will be over $100 for a basic service. Im guessing they dont have a tech qualified to work on your electronic sewing machine there in the store is why they sent it out.
