I know this probalby should go in the Navy forum or some military forum, but I was hoping to get some quick answers. I have the forms printed out for Tricare South. Will I be able to enroll just by mail. The closest base to me with a TSC is Fort Bliss. I'm not exactly sure where that is, but I know it's going to be a drive. DH is leaving soon so we need to have this figured out. They won't let him enroll me in Hawai'i since I need to be enrolled in Tricare South not Tricare West. I don't understand why they couldn't enroll me in Tricare South at that TSC, but then again there are a lot of things I don't understand about the way Tricare works. Another question is can you enroll in Tricare by phone? If so he could get all that taken care of this afternoon. Nothing on the website is clear enough to understand and I'm tired of talking to people on the phone and getting ignored and getting snotty answers and rude brushoffs. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

I knwo to change PCM's you can do it by mail (that's what I'm doing now)..I just printed off the forms from the site and it gives you the address on one of the pages...so I'm sure to enroll you can do the same, cause I know on the forms that I printed out it gives that option (one of the boxes you can check)...

That's what I was thinking. I'm just hoping I can do it all without DH's signature, but I guess if they have any questions I can just fax them a copy of the POA and that should take care of it right? :dunno

You printed off the Tricare Enrollment and PCM change form right?
Then yes you can enroll by mail, it'll give you the address on like the 4th page of the form...
I just read my forms and yep, you sure can mail it in!

Thank ya! I had read through the forms, but I just wanted to make sure it would still work right. I know they can have lots of redtape to go through and can really screw you around.

Yeah you can do it without his signature, at the last page of the form it reads:Signature of Sponsor, Spouse(you) or other legal guardian...so yep... and if you wanna make sure you have everything correct I would call them to make sure.

Yeah I think I will call them to make sure as well. I just don't want to fill it all out and send it in only to have them send it back and tell me it's not right! LOL! That just makes me frustrated!

:yes
You can do it through the mail. You are over a certain distance from the nearest Tricare office. It would be easiest.

Oh yes... I'm well over the 30 miles from the tricare office. The office I work for takes Tricare Prime too so I'm just going to see a doc there... how convenient!
