I was pointed to this community for a lady on another forum so I thought I'd post here. I was just selected to be one of 2 ombudsman for my husbands Ship/ USS Peleliu. I'm so excited and so nervous considering there are 1700 sailors on his ship!! I can't wait to see that phone bill lol. Are there any other ombudsman here that wouldlive to give me some words of advice? The guys are underway right now, but I should be hearing from the CMC soon to set up my training and everything. They want me to attend both pre-deployment meetings coming up, which is exciting and scary all at the same time!
