:yay It will be great having you up here!
I don't think it will make a difference if you pull him early. It is really just a personal choice for you. We have pulled our kids early almost every year!
We do live in housing, in Nautilus Park III, in one of the renovated units. And if I could give you a piece of advice it would be to try to steer clear of the new housing. They are charging people out the rear to move out. One couple had to pay $18,000 to replace the floors. Another family had to pay $5000 for carpets. And that is just a couple of incidents. It is pretty much everyone that has moved out of a new house that has had to pay for something. IMO you are much better off to get one of the renovated 3 bedrooms. They are still very nice, you just won't have central air or stainless appliances. I'd rather keep my money and not have those things. :lol
Margaret 03-14-2008, 09:28 AM I can't wait!! I am not sure what they will give me. I am going to call the houseing office today and talk to them.

:yay Be sure to let me know what they say. I will tell you if it is good or not.
Margaret 03-14-2008, 10:02 AM I am about to call but have no clue what to say!
FTCWifey 03-14-2008, 10:29 AM I am about to call but have no clue what to say!
:dunno either! I don't know that they will tell you anything. But you could just ask what housing area you would be likely to get into, just so that you can check it out online.
Margaret 03-14-2008, 01:07 PM So I called and now I have a list of things to get that probaly can't since my hubby is gone:no
Margaret 03-14-2008, 01:37 PM This really sinks. Right now they have a 3 bedroom for me but there is some paperwork that I have to get and not sure how that is going to work with hubby gone. So I pray that they still have a place for us when I can get the paperwork. This move might be the death of me:P

You have to fax them hard copy orders before they will hold a house for you :) I dunno if you have them yet.
FTCWifey 03-14-2008, 03:10 PM Don't worry about it. They are not short on housing here. If you have a POA you shouldn't have issues getting what you need. Otherwise it won't be a big deal to wait until he gets back. Also, are you in housing down there? Because they won't let you do anything until you check out of that housing I think.
Did she tell you where the 3 bdrm was at?

No were not in housing. No she didn't tell me:dunno
What she said was that with the whole boat moving that the sooner I get her the paperwork the better.

That's true but because it is a change of homeport you guys have priority over everyone else who PCSs into the area.
