I'm so torn on it. I LOVE Horton Hears a Who have since I was little bitty. I saw the animated Suess movie from back in the day and that's what I grew up. I guess I'm afraid it's going to be like the Cat in the Hat movie. It was a good movie but very Micheal Myersish and not as suessish as I preferred.

ya i only saw parts of the Cat in the Hat movie and didnt care for it at all but i love jim carrey and steve carell so i am exctied about it! just looks cuter than the cat in the hat did...

It def does look cuter. I guess I was just SO in love with the old horten movie and I see how overdone this one is in comparison it's just hard to swallow..kwim. I love the old one and the kids like the old one. I'm not even sure if I'll let them see this new one right away. They have never seen Shrek or anything like that.
