Anyone attending/attend Univ of Phoenix online? I'm in process of enrolling and just would like some thoughts about how you like/dislike it. I've been doing online classes for awhile here at the local college (not really totally online seeing as I have to take tests at the actual school) and it's proven to be the best/fastest way for me to get my degree and I'm looking into an online university that I can finish my degree at w/o worries of credit transfers, in the event that I move, etc... TIA
i'm not doing UoP....but i'm doing ashford university's online program. we found that it was cheaper than UoP and a bit more user friendly, but my brother works for UoP and he stands behind the company. Just wanted to say good luck :D

I am currently doing UOP, and I love the flexibility. The only bad thing that I have come across w/ the program I'm in is the 5 weeks really isn't enough time to learn and understand everything clearly. Otherwise I love it.

I do UoP!! IM a criminal justice major. Its actually pretty easy, 2 classes at a time, 9 weeks long. Your final is a project, usually an essay on something. They have deadlines just like every other college and all your books are online so no need to buy them. Theres a video on their website you can look at. My enrollment advisor was a godsend becuase i had never enrolled in college before so I didnt know what I was doing. He helped me fill out all my forms online and he called evey week for the first 9 weeks to check on me. After that a different advisor will call you or you can call them. If you need any help or have questions, feel free to PM me
i think all (if not most) online programs are 5 weeks. at least that's how ashford does it as well.

Wow, that sounds pretty awesome. I'm talking to some advisor named Tom Smith (military advisor I guess) and he's been pretty cool. I've just been super busy lately, so we haven't really had a long period of time to go over the details. But I'll shoot ya a friend request.

I take classes with Axia of UOP. I will be done this summer. I honestly think that there are better schools to attend online. I have had so many problems with this school but I'm so close to finishing my AA that it wouldn't do me any good to transfer. I definitely won't be getting my Bachelor's with UOP. I'm looking at Colorado Tech and Franklin University to do so. UOP is also way too expensive. If you are looking at finishing your AA first I would look into AIU.
Good luck!

My associate program was 9 weeks, but the bachelor program is 5 weeks, but it's only 1 class at a time.
