My aussie for some reason this year has such an huge undercoat...And he is blowing it now...I brush him for 10 mins three times a day and I have been finding clumps of hair on the carpet...I want to just shave him! LOL

Shaved Aussies don't look that bad! We used to shave our down once a year, but he was obese and had trouble dealing with the heat :( Have you tried the shedding blade? That seemed to work best for our Aussie.

I would suggest a shedding blade too! We have a German Wire Hair Pointer that would blow her coat something horrible this time of year and I just shaved her down. She was always rubbing to get those little fluff balls out so we both ended up happier in the end.
