We have ALL had our experiences with the military where we see someone not getting the care they need. The thing is, the military CAN provide (and does) AWESOME care but the issue is FUNDING and DoD is chronically underfunded. DoD also lowballs what it says it needs b/c it thinks it makes itself look bad by admitting to unmet needs within the four branches of service.
MSC is thinking about creating a blog that will allow spouses to anonymously write their stories and experiences--sort of a confessional. Having worked with members of Congress, I can tell you that they want to know what the military community needs from people other than generals and public affairs officers.
You could write about yourself, your spouse, someone else you know, etc., what you think was done RIGHT, what you think wasn't done right, what you were told couldn't be done and why, etc.
WHat do you think?
