I know with this election, Whether it is Obama or Clinton in there, I would fear for their lives. Not so much Clinton but Obama. Every KKK, Natiz, ect member will be out in full force. I wonder if that plays hard on his mind.

I honestly don't care. I HATE race. Face it, a racist can be black, white, green, purple. I HATE it and when I see it on this board...It turns my nails.

there are extremists everywhere. i mean, look at the presidents that have been assainated. there are just a lot of crazies out there.

Obama actually got Secret Service protection very early in comparison to other candidates. So I imagine it was something the weighed heavily in his mind, and rightfully so.

But there are alot of nutjobs out there that would do something to any of them for any reason. It's pretty scary stuff.

I agree with the person who said ANY president has to fear for their lives. Even Bush was targeted overseas with a grenade, I believe it was in Georgia (country, not state.)

Yeah, I know that she already has it. LOL! I meant for the candidates that have don't, he requested his very early. Actually, McCain waived his protection, I believe. That may change soon though.

DH has been saying for months that Clinton and Obama stand a chance at being shot. Too many extreemists don't think what they are doing is right. Also if you look through history, more high profile democrats have been assinated than republicans.

I'm staying out of this one for the most part. But agree that any president has a chance of getting shot, no one is going to be 100% popular.
