please note, all of these questions are generic and will be asked for all locations so some may sound silly. The questions underneath each area are only there to help you think. Please feel free to skip things that don't apply or to elaborate on things that I did not mention.

Housing:
(How is military housing there? Which area did you live in and did you like it? Is it affordable to buy or rent in town and if so what areas would you recommend? Any additional thoughts?)

Schools:
(Which schools did your kids attend? Did you like them? Did your kids like them? How do you think the school system was overall? Any schools you would recommend over others? Did you go to college while you were there? If so, which college and how did you like it? Any additional thoughts?)

Shopping:
(How are the commissary and NEX? Do you shop there or out in town? What stores are available out in town? What is the local shopping like? Malls? Any places you recommend? Any additional thoughts?)

Cost of living:
(What is the cost of living like? High? Average? Low? How did it effect your family? Was there anything special you had to do to make ends meet? Any additional thoughts?)

Military Community:
(How is the military community? Are there resources for family and spouses? Any likes or gripes? Additional thoughts?)

Recreation:
(What is there to do in the area for adults? For kids/families? Is there anything within a few hours driving distance?)

Weather:
(What's the weather like? Mild? Seasonal? Hot? Humid? Rainy? Cold? Are there seasons?)

Overall:
(Would you go back again? Why or why not? What are your main likes and gripes?)

Housing:
We live in the support site housing and it it nice. Everything is in walking distance from the apartments including the NEX, commisarry, and schools. The whole support site is fairly new and the apartments are pretty big. Enlsited people live in apartment buildings. The all have two bathrooms and two patios. Officers have town houses which I haven't been inside of butthey look really nice

Schools:
My kids aren't in school yet but the schools are located on the support site. They have a head start type program for four year olds with priority going to kids of E-4 and under. They also have some Italian preschools that I have heard have mostly American kids and are pretty good.

Shopping:
The comissary and NEX are only about a year old and are well stocked. They also have Italian vendors inside so you can get some local goods without leaving base. They close kinda early (at 7pm) which kinda sucks but we also have a mini mart with the essentials that is open till 9. I haven't done too much shopping off base but I know that there is an Italian mall nearby, although I have heard it is expensive.

Cost of living:
They give us more then enough COLA here. If you do most of your shopping on base then it is about the same as the states. A Euro dollar is worth more then American though so shopping of base can get expensive.

Military Community:
(How is the military community? Are there resources for family and spouses? Any likes or gripes? Additional thoughts?)

Recreation:
There are tons of parks on the support site as well as a pool, movie theater (although the movies are behind US theaters there), sports ballet and karate for kids ages 3 and up, a bowling alley opening soon, and there is also Carney Park which is where all the sports fields are as well as a pool and camp grounds. There is also a teen center to keep teenagers busy after school.

Weather:
I have only been here a few months but it is fairly warm here. In January in was probably 40 degrees and now, in May, it is usually in the mid 70s.

Overall:
We really like it here. There are plenty of family activities to keep everyone busy and the weather is nice.
