Which thing are you doing? I'm hopefully going to be helping start a lending library at Balboa for Cause-usa.org . I should know by the end of the month if they will be starting one here!

I've been a member of the SA letter team for the past year and I've been sending cards and letters overseas for the past 3 yrs now. That's how I met my guy ;). I still have friends from over 2 yrs ago, one of them is in the Army and he's gonna be headed over to Afghanistan this fall, so I'm gonna try to send him letters and care packages as often as I can.

I'm involved with the SA. We send letters and care packages to troops oveseas and try to help out families as best we can, too. It's a lot of fun, and believe it or not does not take all that much time, or even cash (I'm a grad student, and things can be tight) but I have to say that it's the most worthwhile thing I have EVER done. =-)

Been with SA 3 1/2 years. Am on my 25th adoptee and have supported many more through LWT, Wounded TLC and Living Legends Team. When I lived in Los Angeles, helped out at a few functions and when I lived in San Antonio, I mainly focused on our wounded as I was a nurse there at BAMC. Great organization!
