I got this from my home town cook book. A couple got it from a hawaiin inn they stayed at. My DH loves it.
Cream together:
2 c. Sugar
1 c. margarine/butter
Add:
6 riper bananas, mashed (I don't. I just mix it well in my kitchen add and cut them small)
4 eggs, well beaten
Sift: (when you feel like it)
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
Blend the wend and dry ingredients together and add 1 can walnuts, chopped. (optional) Don't over mix this batter. Pour into two bread pans, bake 350 until done. Aprox. 45 - 50 min. I normally bake it an hour or so.
