i'm sure this has been asked a zillion times but how fast did you get pregnant after getting off the pill? I've been on it for 6 years and i'm scared it is going to take FOREVER once we start to try. *ie: he comes home*

I onlt took the birth control for one month then got off it and got pregnant one month after I got off it. I only took it for one month because I had a miscarriage and the doctor told me to wait at least a month before getting pregant again

Took me a year the first time, with Bailey it took about 3 months

i stopped bc in dec and we started trying in feb and got a + in the first month.

I've never been on the pill and it took us about 3 years.

Almost 15 months but I had PCOS that caused fertility issues so Im not a classic case.

I don't take birth control so I am hoping that when we are ready to try it won't be long. :yes

I was off the pill the whole time DH was in Iraq and I got pregnant within two weeks of him coming home.

With this one...I went off the pill and got pregnant that cycle:) So not even a month

I have never been on the pill, but it took me about a year after getting off the shot to get pregnant. If he is gone right now and you are planning on trying when he gets home it might be worth it to stop taking the pill now so your body can have some time to regulate :D

about 3 months

i was pregnant within 3 months after stopping the pill (with each of the girls). the first time, i had been on the pill for over 6 years. the second time, i had only been back on it for about 8 months (the girls are close in age lol).

when i'm NOT on the pill, i'm irregular as heck. with meagan they insisted i was 12 weeks along because my LMP was 12/30, but i didn't get a BFP until late march. i told them i was irregular, had been testing for a month with no positives, but they didn't believe me until later that day when the ultrasound tech told them i wasn't even pregnant :vent i was, it was just super early in the pregnancy.

I went off the pill in end of feb/early march of 2006 and got pregnant in december 2006 had my son sept. 2007.

If you are regular off the pill ( and ovulating) then it shouldn't be that difficult. You can set a watch to my period.

I went on the pill at 16 (for medical reasons....at first), but got pregnant at 19, while ON the pill. After DS was born I went back on the pill for nearly 2 years, then got pregnant immediately after going off. I was pregnant within that first week. I went back on the pill for 3 years, then went off the pill and was pregnant within 3 weeks. Every person is different. How quickly you concieve depends on how fertile you are and how fertile he is. As well as how regular you are. Best advice, just relax and enjoy the fun of TTC! :giggle

I was on the pill from age 13-18(serious acne and hormone issues)and I was pregnant about a year after getting off it. This time around, I stopped taking my pills, and turned up pregnant before my next period. :lol I think it depends on a lot of factors.
