My fiance is at navy boot and he will be graduating the 11th which is on Friday. I only have enough money to stay at a hotel Thursday and Friday. I would like to stay Saturday and Sunday for his liberty. Is he able to use his money as soon as he's graduated from boot or is there paperwork that has to be signed or a waiting period or this or that??
Any info would be helpfull!!
Please and Thank-you's!

Are there maybe any cheaper hotels around . Sometimes if you tell them you want to stay four nights they give you a special deal. Sorry .. I cant help you with information about when he will be paid. Hope you find a solution. :)

Have you/him not been able to access his pay since he left for boot?

if he has money in his bank account, there is no one that can stop him from using it.

I was told that only his wife can access his account, and currently I am just his Fiance. We are getting married after his boot camp graduation. So I havn't accessed his pay, and I pretty sure he hasn't either, as far as I know he cant touch his pay until boot is over.
I also dont know if he has a bank account??

I have heard that if they dont have an account going in the navy "makes" them basically get an account and Fiance knows he needs one, so I'm sure he's tried all he can to get an account...

he will have to have an account. They only do Direct deposit so he would need to have one. I believe if they don't have a home town account they use Armed forces bank at boot.

he did have an account here (home) but something happened I can't quite remember what that something was but he had to basically reactivate the account to use it and he was unemployeed so needless to say he didn't reactivate it before he left. Now, I don't know if he was able to re open it while at boot or what? I'm guessing most likly he has a military account, instead of the home.
but whatever the account is, as long as he is able to touch his money after boot I will be able to stay longer for his liberty and thats all I want :pray:D

if he has the account that he opened while at boot he will have access one way or the other. If he had to re-activate the other account he may not have access to it if he doesn't have an ATM/debit card to it. kwim. point being his money will be deposited into an account of some kind.

:] Well as long as he can get to his money then. I know he doesn't have a debit card or anything so hopfully he just went with the military account...
