I got the ped egg that I ordered in the mail today!!! YAY!! And the best part, IT WORKS!!! It's seriously like a cheese grader for your feet. I have horrible calluses that crack and peel and my feet look horrible, but now they're on their way to looking great for dh's grad :) I'm so happy, if your feet are as bad as mine look into it, you won't be sorry. I've used mine once and I can already tell a big difference!!

Its the bomb! :yahoo I bought this 'as seen on tv' product because I saw it in an infomercial :teehee, and I think someone here recommended it. I was just super curious and I saw it on sale at Rite Aid. So I tried it yesterday, man its sooooo cool! it totally left my heels SUPER soft, and I have really think calluses on the balls of my feet because I wear A LOT of heels, so it even softened those! I love this little thing, its my new favorite toy :D

We got ours at Bed Bath and Beyond. I believe it was $9.99. They had a whole butt load of them. John would probably kill me if he knew what I was about to say. But he uses it and loves it. He is a drill instructor here at Great Lakes so he walks ALOT. His feet get tore up and this is the only he has found that helps.

When John and I were dating I was in a nail tech school so I did manicures, pedicures, etc. all the time. After we got married I begged him to let me give him a pedi. I got him to let me do it once and he made me swear to not ever tell. whoops, lol. I haven't been able to get him to let me to it again. But he'll use the Ped Egg. He uses it over the toilet cause his feet are so bad there there is a pile of dead skin, tmi, I know but it seriously takes the dead the skin right off and leaves your feet soft. I felt his right after he used it and couldn't believe it.

I heard really good reviews on it but I use something else anyway that works flawlessly. It is a credo, like a foot razor. I learned how to use it in Cos, and my mom used to use them at her salon. Of course it was one blade person, etc. But anyway, don't try it if you don't know what you are doing because you really can hurt yourself! If you know how to use it, I highly recommend it!

Lissa, you were using it after you got out of the shower right? From what I understand it will not work on your calluses unless your skin is softened from soaking.the ped egg directions tell you to make sure your feet are completely dry. my guess is the way it works you could hurt your feet if they skin was wet. I found that you will have to use it and then put lotion on afterwards. the difference isn't noticeable immediately but usually the second or third time you use it. and as long as you moisturize your feet regularly it should work great. :)

See, the problem with pedis is that:
1. you don't know who's been there before you
2. you don't REALLY know how clean it is
3. you get to smell the fumes of acrylic nails the whole time
4. it takes FOREVER and I hate those chairs - I always feel like I'm about to fall out.

LOL

I'm such a brat.

glad to see im not the only one:D my feet were so cracked and dry before...the whole process kind fo freaks me out lol but it works!

it is gross, but it works. flat files don't work for me. I've bought all the creams that help to dissolve caluses etc, and they did nothing. I am usually barefoot or in flip flops.....so I get horrible feet from time to time. I'll use that ped egg and my feet are so nice and smooth. I just use the ped egg, apply lotion and they are GREAT! So much nicer and I can save pedicures for important stuff......

I have used mine with cracks on my heels. I just go VERY slowly over them and sometimes have to give it a few days to let the cracks heal a bit and then redo them. Works great every single time.
