Anyone been to them? What did you buy? Are they fun?

I'm going to one next weekend. I've browsed an old catalog and kind of picked out a couple things I'd like. I hope I don't go crazy buying all kinds of stuff that I'll probably only use once. LOL!

They are a lot of fun. I went to one a few years ago and got hooked right away. We made garden stones and a couple of cards. I bought an alphabet, a Hawaiian santa set, and bunch of cardstock, cleaning pad, inks..way too much. I think I spent $150 :blush Hope you have fun! :)

i LOVE stampin' up parties. i am going to one the first week back from school and i cannot wait. i have sooo many stamps and i used them whenever i scrapbook, make thank you cards, write letters. they are wonderful.. if it is stampin' up, do spend the money and get their ink pads... they are amazing!! oooh, and sometimes there are sets for really cheap b.c they are getting discontinued! so look for that too! have fun!! :happy

I know, I need to make a limit for myself before I go. LOL! Or I'll end up spending too much!! LOL!

I love stampin up be sure to get the stamps you want now b/c in june TONS of the really cool ones are going to retire and not be available for sale :( but the new catalog comes out with some really COOL stuff :D

I also love stamping. In fact I am a demonstrator for stampin up. It is so fun and very addicting.

My family has them all the time...we invite our close friends as well...it's kind of expensive...along with scrapbooking...but it's a lot of fun...I LOVE IT

You can usually get the paper and stuff for less at walmart or michaels...I do love their stamps though!!
