Have you looked into state colleges and universities? These days many of them offer getting degrees completely done online. You may even be able to get financial aid, as if you were attending courses in person. Just an option to consider. Good luck, Sweetie!!

you are in Bremerton, right?? The community college there is pretty good and has extension courses for WSU if your looking higher than an AA. They have quite a few on-line programs... I went there for a year.

Congratulations on making the Big Move.... getting started is the hardest part.
Any decent state or community college will have at least some on-line courses. It will be difficult to get classes on-line if they require a lab, so once you get to Anatomy or the hard sciences, you'll need to go to a brick-and-mortar institution. You should check the local schools where you're stationed, expecially to find out if they offer military family members in-state rates (not all states do this). You could get your information from the schools themselves, or from the Education office on base.
What I do NOT recommend is getting your on-line 'degree' from a place like University of Phoenix or the other schools that advertize as on-line heaven. Even though they now have .edu in their URL, and they do have to meet SOME standards now, the quality of the education isn't well received by employers, meaning your diploma might not be worth the paper it's printed on. When I interview people for jobs, if the only degree they can show me is one from Phoenix, I usually by-pass them in favor of someone who took credits from a regular school. Many schools will not accept those credits for transfer either, so in many ways, you'll be much better off with a regional state school or community college. Don't sell those CC's short- they can usually offer some great programs, at a very reasonable cost, with the advantage of having smaller classes, and highly transferrable credits.
Good luck!

Thanks!
Do you need to get transcripts from a college if you already graduated from there or can you use your diploma?
