I knew this was going to happen. I had a handshake deal to start a new, great job when DH deploys. The guy told me to call him this week when I had a set date I could start. So I did. And he told me everything's still in limbo with moving and they haven't done anything about me starting yet and to email him about it as a reminder. Then I asked if he needed anything more from me and he said he didn't at this time.

WTF? So I emailed him asking him about the situation and what it meant. It's a super small company and it's not like he could forget me. I turned down another interview for a job I had been waiting on because I had a handshake deal with this job. If this doesn't work out I'm going to have a mental breakdown. He better email me back today with an explanation.
