So i got an email from his mom today saying that she spoke with the FRO from his unit (finally after 4 weeks of phone tag) and she told her the arrival window (which we already knew) but that they do not yet have a flight assigned to them from Kuwait here, so nothing is really for sure yet.. .AND that the group who came home 2 weeks ago were supposed to get in on Sunday and were delayed until Tuesday:sadeyes I have always known things can change...but its a WEEK away and i am flying across the country to be there and taking off 3 days of work... if i get there and he doesnt get home i dont know WHAT im going to do:no i am :pray it works out, but i'm really starting to feel anxiety about this!

Ohhhh the Marine Corps and their anti-schedule. I know the sand storms over there have been pretty bad for a couple days and everyone is pretty much stuck where they are. Hopefully they settle down soon and then they can schedule his flight. I'm praying for you and concentrate on the fact that you get to see him sooooooo soon rather than the MAYBE obstacles. HE'S COMING HOME!!! :yay:dance:hugehug

I know, im trying!! But if something happens and he doesnt get back on time...Im only in Cali for 5 days then i have to come back here to finish my semester and stuff... so in that case, i WOULDNT get to see him until like my graduation in MAY!! ahhh this is what is going to happen to me i just KNOW IT!!!

i am driving from Texas to NC all by myself, and taking off from work/school just like you...if he doesn't get there when they say he is supposed to, i'm going to miss even more school and have to call in to work...bad bad.
