Yep we have 18 dyas before Phils contract is up....still no re-enlistment. We should have heard yesturday but no one was to be found because of commanders calls and the same reasons today. To me that isnt an excuse as to why no one can give my husband a yes or a no. But Phil has a test date for his Staff Sgt promotion May 15th but its no good without a re-enlistment. With everything going on in my life I am not sleeping, eatting and getting more and more depressed as time goes by. Anyways, before this becomes a rant or vent, thats the update.

holy crap I would be soo pissed. My hubby would be camped outside the CO's office till he got an answer, that is just unacceptable to me.

Sweetie, we just had the same issue with my husband's re-enlistment. It took so long that we had to get an extension because his contract was up on the 30th of March. I'm so sorry you're going through this, I know how frustrating it is since I just went through it. My husband's re-enlistment ceremony is tomorrow.

Is your husband re-enlisting for orders? If so and you already know where ya'll are going, I'd call that Unit and see if they can call about his re-enlistment. That's what we had to do.

I really hope your husband gets the papers soon.

Nope we are staying here no orders are to be given. They are just sitting on it.

End of day update: Phils Chief still hasnt talked to the commander yet. He is going to go tomorrow with the first sgt and talk to him.

I dont want to pass judgement on anyone but I will say that the length of time is WAY to slow for my taste.

Holy crap. I swear I will never complain about DH's Command ever again... His stuff always gets done really fast... I wish he had some rank behind him to make them do something, what the heck are they doing?!?!?!?! Yikes, I hope he gets and answer soon.
