He's online ordering all the crap he needs.
I'm starting to get the panicky feeling anytime I look at a calendar or talk about dates with people. I hate when you realize there are only X amount of weeks left.
And he just told me he's gone for 2 of those weeks.

It's our 3rd though, in our 3rd year here. So, I'm a lil prepared. I feel better about this one than the previous 2. Lil apprehensive about where he's going (which I will share once he's there safe) but not freaking out so much about the deployment itself. Yet.
I just hate the buildup. Trying to be ok though, cause he's feeling guilty about his job, which he so shouldn't. I support him and this job. Ugh. Just ready to start it and get to crossing days off!
Wish me luck ladies, want to make this our best pre-deployment time yet. I've really ruined some time before deployments in the past, been too miserable too early, so I'm saving that for when he's gone and really trying to make the best of our time. Hope some newly deploying ladies can learn from my mistakes!

That is exactly how I was. Part of me wanted him gone just to start getting it over with. I'd cry every night and it sucked because that is how we spent our last weeks together. I had plenty of time to cry myself to sleep later.:sadeyes

i'm in the same boat as you girl.. we have 12 days left together..
i try not to be soo miserable but sometimes he catches me at the wrong moments and i've been trying! i'll be cryin or something! so you're not the only one! so now it's like our honeymoon kwim!! ha ha.
we can make it girl!
we are strong for our men and that is why our men love us so much.

6ish months. As usual. I expect the 6 month deployment, we are on sea duty. The about 3 months of training away from home the rest of each year is what gets me down!

I am going to go back home to FL for a month or so this summer again. I know it will go pretty quickly on the whole.

Found myself getting crabby with him today, really trying to check myself and make sure it was a true crabbiness or if I'm just getting down; trying to stay UP! :yes
