Alright the original plan was when DH got back to North Carolina in like 3 weeks, I would drive his car there from Texas stay a few days and fly back so that I could finish the rest of the semester-then after he got his block leave we would go to New York to see his family, and then to Hawaii for our vacation...
well DH says that he KNOWS that i am going to be super stressed driving and traveling when i should be in school, and studying for finals and I completely agree...
so instead of seeing him as soon as he gets back from iraq, we are going to wait until i get out of school and see each other for the first time in Laguradia Airport... so MAY 10 i should have a pseudo homecoming..
The reason this is so cute and romantic is...the last time we saw each other was at Laguardia Airport about 7 months ago....it was really bad because we got into a heinous fight the night before, and I almost thought we were done with; we were crying and bawling saying goodbye at each other's gates.... so the first time I see my husband its going to be at the place where we saw each other last... he said "aww it's like we're picking up where we left off!"
i am really excited!!!!
but this is where it gets wierd...we are going to New york to see "family" but my DH is STILL not speaking to his mother!! I asked him what was going to happen with that..he says he doesn't even plan to go visit her!!! :dunno
