OK! So what is the weirdest, rudest, craziest thing a neighbor has ever said/done to you?

What, if anything, did you do back?

For me is was something I mentioned in another thread earlier today.

A little girl took my DDs roller skates off our porch. She was wearing them and standing next to my house with her mother who watched her take them. I said to her "Did you take Nora's roller skates w/o asking? And this woman took the skates off and threw them at my head screaming "You want your roller skates? There's your fucking roller skates bitch!"

I said "I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't use that kind of language in from of my children and if you could teach yours to act like humans that might help too. Although I guess to teach someone to act like a human you'd have to know how to do it yourself."

OK Your turn!

a while back we had a huge storm and it flooded part of the town. we flooded here at the house so for the next few days we were pulling stuff out and drying it on the lawn, not a big deal right.... wrong!!! one of our neighbors reported us for having "junk" littering our lawn and making the neighborhood look bad to the city council. they promptly sent someone out here and gave us a ticket saying that the beautification laws for our city demands we clean up our flood mess within 3 days or we would get fined $300. these same neighbors also reported us for our tires being off the driveway 2 inches and touching our own grass. yeah can you say anal retentive that has nothing better to do, especially since we moved into a neighborhood that DID NOT have a homeowners association to avoid being told how we could decorate our lawn. and they also reported us for having mismatched lawn decorations ( evidently my potted plants in the front needed to be in the same kind of pots) . cukoo

When my neighbor across the street had DH by his neck, pinned against the wall saying that she was going to kill him. With her DH behind her egging her on. Yes, I called the cops and yes we pressed charges. She thought I was racist because of what happened. The look on her face when my parents were out here last year was PRICELESS!!!! :lol

All of that because DH told her kids to stay off of Gabe's toys. We had talked to her NUMEROUS times and her son broke yet another scooter (the 5th one).

WHAT! I can't imagine my DH condoning my assaulting someone. He'd be HUMILIATED! and furious, and probably wonder why he had married me.

Our neighbors burned down a section of the patio fence the night before Easter last year. They had a little get together that night and apparently knocked over their grill, and were too tipsy to figure out they should wet down the hot coals that they knocked into the bed of wood chips. It didn't really make me mad, but the fence is only eight feet from our house, it was close to my dd's bedroom, and thinking of what could have happened really upset me.

hmmm well when I was a kid we had a neighbor who chained up his son to a tree and beat him it was while we were on vacation.
Recently my neighbor said he was in love with me and locked me in his house for 5 hours reciting bible passages and saying why he wanted me to be with him. It was awful and something I didn't talk about on here.

My daughter was outside playing with the neighbors 6 year old twins last summer and I went inside to do dishes ( the window by the sink outloooks the backyard so I was watching her the whole time). Well the other neighbors have young twins, they couldn't have been older then two, and they dropped them over my fence and left! They didn't even see that I was watching from the window, so to the best of their knowledge they were leaving the little girls to be babysat by the six year olds (who are both a little slow, to the point where the parents switched schools because the last school thought they were to delayed to move on to first grade). Apparently I am a free drop in daycare or something and they NEVER check on their kids.

our landlord (which just so happens to be my neighbor) waited until he thought I left one day and decided to come into the house through the garage/basement. The fact is, I had left, but I was going to the doctor and my mother was here watching my two children who were napping at the time. My mother heard the garage door open (the landlord obviously has keys) and she went to the basement door and opened it about the time he was at the bottom of the steps. :) She said she thought he crapped his pants before stumbling on about thinking there was a busted water pipe in the house and then he IMMEDIATELY left. I hate living here... he is creepy.

oh I have a good one

Last summer when dh was deployed I kept late nights most times. I was in my living room watching tv with my blinds somewhat open and the window open to get some air. my neighbor came over at 11 pm asking if i could close the blinds because the lights were keeping them awake. so i did, unwillingly. So she came back a week later and knocked for 35 minutes!!!! I didn't answer that time.

Shining lights at our house. It first started out as just flashlights and then he got a boat with a big light on it and would shine that at our house. It was CREEPY. One night my cat woke me up because she was freaking out and there was someone standing on our porch shining a flashlight through the window looking around. I still think it was him. He would drive up and down the side road by our house up to the stop sign and reverse back to his house and keep doing it.

We moved.

Holy cow!! I've been lucky!!! Our first house, our neighbor came over and was all nicee and polite (as we were moving in...) He got to talk to DH and asked him what he did, DH said he's in the army, the guys eyes got big he turned around while saying "go to hell" and walked back to his house- we never really saw him again! And then our neighbors here backed into my friends truck but didn't say anything about... Luckily our other neighbors saw it and told us....It was a pretty big dint, but the guy was like "I didn't know I hit anything...." hahaha

:shock holy crap Berk. That is crazy. :hugs
My craziest experience I won't talk about on here, but besides that lets see so many to choose from....
Oh when our neighbors had an orgy in their back yard and some how truth or dare invaded our party. The neighbor and her friend came over in towels and not much else, the friend started being a bitch to our friend who then flung her around by her towel. Then a naked guy tried to come into our yard. :freakout it was crazy. Oh and they broke her son's pool by having too many people in it.

When we were younger our neighbor would call the MP's because us kids played too close to her precious truck. She then called my brother a bastard.

Our neighbors dont really say/do a whole lot around here because my family lives in its own "private" gated neighborhood... but the home owners society here are anal as hell. You cant put your damn trash cans out to early the day before, and you cant leave them out the next day past a certain time either. :screwy
And our neighbors when its summer time mows their lawn like everyday with one of those old fashioned push mowers... and they like scrub their driveway on their hands and knees :screwy :wow :duh
people are odd?

We had neighbors at Travis AFB who kept the filthiest house I had ever seen. There were broken baby diapers that had dried feces in them, a pizza box in one corner that sat there for months on end, etc. We called to have them investigated and the command that the husband worked at was called and gave him advanced notice to clean it up. Well, when we got ready to move, my husband went over and let them know the moving truck would be there the next day and they might want to move thier car so they wouldn't get blocked in. They didn't move it, then the wife came out screaming at us to move the F&%ing truck so she could get out. The movers told her tough luck and didn't move until about 7 pm when they left.

In our apartment in FL. the neighbor beneath me banged on her ceiling for me to turn down my radio one time. Only problem was it wasn't me. It was a car driving down the road.

When we lived in the duplex in FL. our neighbor was a stripper. She had the big fake boobs, too. She made it quite clear she had the hots for John. Well, John went to get the mail one day and when he was out there she came out and rubbed her boobs against his back while attempting to get her mail, too. John's friend was out there with him and saw the whole thing, too.

My neighbor offered me $80.00 to sleep with her.

I was highly offended, I am worth much more than that.
