Stuffed Banana Smiles

1 medium-size banana
1-2 teaspoons raisins (regular or golden)
1-2 teaspoons chips such as semi-sweet, milk, or white chocolate, or peanut butter
Chopped pecans or other nuts as desired

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Place banana, with peel on, flat on its side on foil.

3. Starting and ending ¼-inch from the ends of the banana, cut a slit lengthwise through the banana up to the skin on the other side (this is the ‘smile’). Be careful not to cut through the skin on the opposite (bottom) side.

4. Gently open the banana. Use your fingers to stuff the banana with raisins, then add chips. Sprinkle nuts on top, if desired.

5. Wrap banana loosely in foil and label with your name. Place wrapped banana on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes, or wrap loosely in foil and grill on a covered barbecue.

6. Eat immediately, scooping with a spoon right out of the banana peel.

OMG it's Andrea!
