We don't have a clue, but we are very seriously looking into buying and Oceanside looks like it may be a VERY strong possibility. Due to Jason being gone so much once we get there, the drive won't be as much of a factor for us as it was when he was in school or shore duty. Plus, most of the homes within our price range seem to be in that area, or at least the ones that seem to be worth a damn and not falling apart. Maybe you can help me with the different areas and which are in good/bad locations? :dunno I can't wait to get back there, I really can't. I miss you guys so much. Right now, the command is telling everyone the date for us moving back is actually in November :eek (that would be sooooooo nice but I'm not counting on it) but the contractors and people who are actually building the ship are saying more like AT LEAST december, possibly even as late as Feb with plenty of time left to still get pushed back even further.

The longer we're here, the longer his time on the ship will be b/c his three years does not start until after the ship is actully in SD. :nutts I just want to be back there, away from here. This place is :paranoid

AND the guys could carpool together too when Jason is home, or they could take the train together! :teehee Ryan got verbal approval to extend at his command through his EAOS, so just waiting on concrete confirmation for that.. then we will be guaranteed to be down here until Oct 2009.. hoping for a civilian job here after that.
