Ok... we have usaa.. and I was going to get him a prepaid card with them that way I can load it ... but his chain is saying that there are problems with them overseas.... and that ne needs navy fed/pacific marine....

that's NOT true...you'll (from what I've heard from a LOT of people) have more problems with NFCU than USAA...We're opening up another USAA account so that DH has his own account and checks/check card and I'll just put money in it every payday.

I do agree to NOT switch over to Navy fed at all costs they are horrid.

It really depends on what he's going to be purchasing, but my DH just uses his debit card--although sometimes it takes a week for the charges to show up. Another option is to have him take a checkbook to his own account and he can cash a check for cash and use that.

DO NOT USED NFCU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate them. They make it miserable here. USAA rocks.

ok.. I will stick with USAA THEN.. it can take as long as it wants to show up its going to be in a seperate account
