Just Curious does anyone else reread all of there SO letters that they have sent them.. Like I read my SOs letters to help me sleep every morning when I wake up so my day will go good.... One day I forgot and I felt so sad... I have even taking all of his letters with me and read them while working...

I have sprayed perfume on my SOs letters and on the pictures I sent him.. He loved it lol... he as requested that I keep doing it lol...(so and idea if you guys wanted to do that) lol some of you may already do that hehe...

I just wanted to know if any of you guys do this or well something different if you dont mind sharing?

I re-read emails because he can't write me. And I resist the urge to punch girls who complain about not getting a call in about a week when I've gotten one the WHOLE deployment.


When I have bad days, I wear his clothes and wrap up in his blanket. Watch some of his favorite shows on DVD.

I believe everybody takes the separation a little differently my DF spoiled me everyday talking on the phone while he had a injury. So now I will know how you feel.. I see what you mean you have not talked to him... in a while when my DF first went to basic it was month before I got a phone call what do you know I freaking miss it:arg. That wont happen this time....

Hey I do the same thing hehe I wear his Jackets to sleep haha I told him that and he thought it was so funny and cute

I used to sleep in his clothes untill they started smelling like the closet and not him. Then it just made me sad. Now I just go look around his mypace and leave comment he cant read.

Me too (LOL) I always read his letters over. I have 10 that he has sent me.
Well, now i know i'm not the only one who does it!!!!

I re-read his e-mails, listen to saved voicemails from him, look at pics of him, visit his MySpace page, re-read old texts, and re-read old IM conversations like all the dang time. He can usually e-mail once a week, so there is a lot of silence to be filled by his old communications to me. I treasure them like you wouldn't believe.

yup, I re-read the letters all the time. And he left me a voicemail once, too, so I usually listen to that before I go to sleep at night :wub OH DB also said that he loves getting pics of me in the letters, ones that I take while he's gone ^.^

I reread old letters and emails, listen to songs that remind me of him, wear his clothes, and look at pictures of him till I'm sure I've memorized every detail. :)

I reread his letters he sends all the time! It makes me feel so much better when I am missing him. I also put perfume on his letters. He loves it.

I reread them all the time and DH has been out of BCT since December! They are just the sweetest most romantic letters ever so I have to reread them every now and then (L)

Oh sure I reread old letters. If I am having one of those days...I just whip out a letter.

I do the whole perfume thing. well. Its the body splash stuff from bath and body works... vanilla. This one time he was standing below me and he smelled my deodorant (of all things... vanilla!) but he liked it, and thats what he requested on his letters.

I reread my DF letters all the time. I bought a small plastic tote(shoebox size) to put them in. I have asked him to save all the letters that I send to him and I hope to make sort of a memory book with them all. I comment my DFs myspace page everyday - I feel as though I'm talking to myself, but he will get to read them when he gets home, so I think it will be nice for him to look back and read them!

Db filled out the book "What I love about you" for me and when I am feeling extra sad or missing him I will read that book before I go to bed! It makes me feel closer to him!

I read all the comments its cool to see that everyone has there on way of reminding themselves of there SO.... I still sleep in his cloths just the thought that there his works good enough for me hehehe

Yea, i do the exact same thing. Im at school and i have two of his letters in my bag.

I also do the same thing with the perfume. The one time he called me he told me how much he looved it, and that when he closes his eyes he feels like hes at home in my room again, so ive done it ever since.

lol my DF said i dont care!!! lol his drill sargent went to give him the letter and he said D*MM this smells good... DF took it and said yeah i know with a big grin:D he said the other guys wrote there girls and told them to do hahaha

LOL, Dh loves the perfumed letters also. He lets people smell them and keep them in a zip lock bag.

I have a box full of his letters that I re-read all the time, especially when I'm sad. I had a bunch of txt's but lost all but 5 when my phone broke.

ummm, I print off all of his emails. When he was in ranger school I would read his letters every morning and every night. We all have ways of coping and no one can fault you for that.
