I told Jamie that I would let her know how it was, and I just thought I would share my thoughts in case anyone else is interested.

It was set up sort of like a reality show. They had a variety of children on the spectrum. It was very interesting seeing how they all reacted and interacted with each other. I really enjoyed watching it, and hope they do it again.
From the parents' perspective was the part I enjoyed the most. It was very raw and real, and I cried more than once.
My son is most comparable (if there is any comparison) to Henry. At this point Henry is a little more functioning than T is, but I think that may be because he is a few years older. I would be very happy if we get to that point with him. It was encouraging.
Anyway, at the end it said that the orchastrator of the musical was given the funding to do it for another year, I hope they follow up with that and show it.

Yeah, Henry was the platinum blonde. He was so cute with his dinosoaur facts.;) I liked all the kids, they were all so different, and yet able to interact well together.

I want to see this badly! My nephew is autistic and has Down's. I think he'd enjoy it, too. He's really fascinated lately with how people are different from one another.

Thank you for the review! :hugs

That's great! I got super stoked to see that it was on On Demand, and then when I went to watch it, it asked me to subscribe to Showtime or HBO or whatever. :td

I hope it goes to DVD, thanks for the review!

It is really interesting for that very reason. It has been on HBO every few days for awhile now.
