nothing too much unless you like fishing it's the Texas City Dike...well thats in tx city...basicLLY nothing too much.

ooh good question, we have some friends coming and they want to go there. :pukey i don't know why the beach is not good there.

oh please don't go in the water at galveston! i have gotten rashes from the water so many times.

other than that there isn't much more to do down there

Kemah boardwalk isn't far from there... and there's always the strand. Galveston beach is nasty.

G went to "mardi gras" at Galveston one year with his ship... they moored near Landry's and gave nickel tours... that was back in '99 though..

we dont plan on going in the water. i've heard some nasty nasty things about it! We were hoping to go to the indoor waterpark at Schlitterbahn... but they're not open weekdays! argh! I think we might just do Moody Gardens.

Melissa- We're not too far from Kemah & go there alot. DD gets on some of the rides for free so it's worth it! Thanks though!
