I'm "just" a girlfriend so how the heck would I be able to get on base to welcome my sweetie home? I know I don't have to worry about it for six MORE MONTHS but I'm just wondering how that works if you're not a spouse or family member.

Does he have anyone on base that could pick you up at the front gate? if not I think he can request a sign in.............I think anyways, hmmm that's a good one. There is sure to be a way though :)

He can let his command know that you are a guest coming to see him at homecoming. They are used to it when they have to do it for families and stuff.

Don't worry :hugs

I used to go on base every weekend. They would ask me where I am going and who I am going to visit. Then I would show them my drivers license, registration, and proof of insurance. They would write me a pass and I was on.

OMG it's Andrea!

call the front gate and ask them. some places require a guest signer/sponsor sort of deal, but some dont. AK just asks for destination, lisense, registration and insurance to get on
