So I have finally moved in to our new apartment in San Antonio (near Lackland AFB) It's definitely a huge change from the little country town that I moved from in Missouri but I'm lovin it so far!

i visited DH in Lackland while he was doing tech school. It is a HUGE base and certainly really busy. Get used to loud aircraft overhead. :giggle But there is so much to do and see in the area. I loved it. I wish he felt the same. He said it was far too hot. Good luck!

Thanks Ladies! It is different seeing military wherever you go here and constantly seeing the plans fly by but its still pretty cool :) And atleast I will be used to the humidity...it is a killer back home during the summer!

We just left from there....I do miss the warmth..but won't miss how hot it gets in the summer...ther are a few my space groups that have some fun girls on it..and one on yahoo...it's an enlisted group..but not an official..if ya know what I mean...

I lived there while DH was at tech school. Definatly check out the library on Lackland, its big! (atleast compared tot eh one here in South Dakota). I really miss living there :(

I visited Lackland a few weeks ago and I thought it was awesome! Its beautiful there! My fiance just graduated from there but unfortunately we will be moving to AK in October... I would rather be in the TX warmth! Have fun!!
