Hey, I got a phone call this morning from my fiance. He is having a lot of medical issues and I am freaking. First of all he needs to have a bone scan done in his leg because he felt pain in his bones as though he stepped on a nail. I was told by someone who was in the military that if they find something, it is possible he will have to heal and then finish basic. :tears
Then he said he also has chest pains. They did all the tests and everything came back fine except they found his high cholesterol, which i told him to tell them so that he would eat right. They said that if they had found that after a couple weeks they would have sent him home, but since he is so far they just put him on meds for it.
I am soooo worried about him. I was crying all morning. I just want him to come home. I know he is safe there and has very good medical care but I want to be there. :depressed

a bone scan would be looking for a stress fracture in his leg probably. hope things turn out ok! :hugs

It's always hard to have the one you love away and suffering without you there to kiss the owies. (I know that's baby talk but that's what my DH calls them--not trying to put anyone down) Just hang in there--it'll be okay.

Thanks everyone. We could definitely use your prayers and thoughts. I will let you all know when I find out. I got a letter today. The chest pains had happened already. He told me to not worry, cause he will be okay. Kinda hard but hey I will try.
The bone thing hadn't happened yet. Hopefully he will call me this sunday but he said that they had moved into white phase, but had to go back to red cause one of the guys decided to take ammo back from the range. So I don't know if he will be allowed to call-again-for the third sunday in a row.

Lets just pray for a Sunday call!!!
