Alright-I am all confused now. Before DH went to BCT the Nuclear Chief said depending on his school start time. He may be able to come back after a week and get his family. Which is not a big deal to me because I can make the drive with the dog and kid by myself. Now it sounds as if we have to wait a month before we can even join him in Goose Creek after Bct, since he has to stay in BEQ for a month! WTF. I have to quit my career and sell out home for his dreams and now "they" are f-ing us over. I have an interview the first part of June in SC and he leaves BCT for NNPTC May 14th. Oh my I am...ugh!:arg Does anyone know who I can talk to or if this is the case?

Maybe you could call the Weapons Station Housing office, I'm sure they know the regs about students and when they are eligible for housing. Even if he has to stay in the barracks for the first month, maybe you guys would still be allowed to get housing.

My guess is that he has to phase up to being able to live with you guys? :shrug I'm not 100% sure because your question is kinda jumbled. Basically if the school says he has to live in the BEQ then i'm sure there won't be much to change that. If you can drive yourself there is no stopping you to move up there and make it in time for your interview. or your dh could come home between BCT and school to help move you guys. Will you be living out in town or in housing?

Sorry, it was all organized in my head. I am confused since the first thing we heard was:
-He could come home and help us move or we could join him in base housing after a week or so. Since he has to have housing setup for us.
Now
-At Bct he was told that he has to live in BEQ and then we can live together in base housing after a month.
I just don't know if I am over stepping my bounds either by contacting someone directly in Goose Creek.
