When I get to CA next month, there definitely should be a Los Angeles area get together this summer--I'll be in San Diego, but will be down in LA a lot visiting family and whatnot.

Well I will be in Cali for at least the next year and a half.. I grew up here and know the areas pretty well.. We should definitely have some sort of get together :yes

DB and I grew up together in Glendale. When he's not deployed, we get out that way often. Right now, his homeport is SD and I'm stuck in Vegas. But, again when he's not at sea, we travel most weekends with LA our frequent meeting point.

I'm also in the entertainment business, and I believe you are too, if I'm not mistaken.

Hey ladies - I haven't looked at this thread in a while... there are a lot more people near the LA area than I realized!

More specifically, I'm in the West LA area, close to the border of LA and Santa Monica. DB... well... as of recently I guess he's ex-DB (:sadeyes)... well anyway, he was at Mugu and now is in SD. I've spent a bit of time traveling between here and Ventura, and have friends all over the LA area so I'm around a lot. I lived in the San Gabriel Valley area for a few years and have been in West LA for a little over 1 now.

I was in Encinitas a couple weeks ago! The parents of a good friend of mine live there and we crash there every once in a while.

i'm in corona, work in anaheim. and totally down to drive to LA to go out sometime!!! its only an hour or so :)

You know theres an entire base in ventura county ;) I just moved from there, we lived off the PCH and went into LA all the time. Im bummin cause we moved and now we can't use our annual passes to go to Universal for the simpsons ride opening!! Anyway, the bases are in port hueneme and point Mugu, Mugu is right off the pch, and Huneme is off pleasant valley, if you take 101 to camarillo and then takee the Las posas ext thats the easiest way to get to either base :)
