I really dislike the postal service right now. They're holding my letter hostage! Or DB didn't send me one this week. But I hope thats not the case. I mean, I did after all miss his call last week. And he could be too busy. Or he could have caught some rare disease and died. Or got shot. Or burned in a fire. But seriously. Letters come on Wednesday or Thursday. And nothing.

And then now I'm contemplating if I really REALLY want to go to his graduation or not. I mean I'll still go, since I have the plane tickets and everything, but I believe its for family, and I'm certainly not family.

Am I the only one slow mail is getting to?

you can still go. my bf is graduating next week and im going with his family you can certainly goo i bet he wants you there.. if you do he will be happy and i would be so very proud of my bf. so you should go.

Maybe the mail is just being wonky right now. I had late letters once or twice...I hope you get one soon :goodvibes As for his graduation - GO!!!!! It isn't just for family and I'm sure it'll mean a lot to him if you're there. I didn't expect to be nearly as emotional for me or as important to him as it turned out to be. It will be a good experience...I promise.

I think its just human error. My dh received a letter that I sent the week he left and he got it like a week ago. It sucks I know!!!!

Sometimes the mail is just slow, or he didn't get to write the exact same day as usual. Def. still go to graduation, there is nothing like it and trust me he wants to see you!!! Don't worry I'm sure it's nothing.

oh god yes, ask anyone. They did it in bct and ranger school for DH and I know there are countless other women who have experienced this. The goal is not to give these guys warm fuzzies, it is to break them down. They with held letters during ranger school for the first 3 weeks. This happens all the time.

Well in my case it was post marked late. I was fortunate that DH had ds's that felt letters were important and didnt hold on to them. Because any other time Dh got his letter 2 days after I sent them.

Oh don't worry the manager at my Post Office knows me by name. I think I called every other day for 2 weeks. I didn't get a letter for 2 weeks once and when I finally did, the first line was I haven't gotten anything from you in a couple days, are you ok?!!?... Funny thing was... I wrote everyday sometimes twice a day. I think it drives you crazy but be patient they will come. It takes forever for them to sort the mail, and send it out. Ugh... annoying I know. Don't worry db got to AIT just about a month ago, and he sent a letter that first Monday( got there on a Saturday) and yeah... just got the letter this past week. Don't worry love, they will come.

I got my letter. The post office was being slow... It was postmarked on Monday, just like all the other letters.

It ended up being a fantastic day though... I set up a lunch date with his mom to go over plans for his graduation and I FINALLY got my internship that I've been trying to get with a criminalistics lab for the past year. Yay State of California.

So I'm actually bouncing off the walls... he qualified for sharpshooter. Yay!

:yay! I am glad the next day was better. I just got a letter from dh today and he said he did not get any letters from me for FIVE DAYS!!!! Then, because I write everyday he got six in one day. I am glad he got them because I did not want him thinking I did not write him. :sadeyes.

My dh said yesterday when I talked to him that he was a sharpshooter or something as well. Do you know what that means? He did not have time to tell me.
