Where do you find them? I've searched high and low and can't find a thing.

DH and I wanted to buy.. but we don't especially LOVE the town we are movign too, and can't find anything that really suits our needs.. kwim?

We aren't moving near a military post so housing is not an option, and I'd rather not live in an apartment.

Does anyone have any good websites for home rentals? Or do you have to contact a realtor or a property manager?

we list our houses on craigslist when we need to find renters.

Either craigslist or the local paper (they usually have their classifieds online too)

I just signed up for that. Only problem with us is that we are about 60 miles from our nearest post, and it doesn't go that far out. :tears

Google property management companies in the area you're looking in.

Craigslist is where we found ours...We did not want to go through a management company.

I was going to suggest military by owner or craigslist. Check out www.realtor.com as well you can find rentals there.

We've found ours in the classifieds under houses for rent and by going through a realtor ( We actually got a retired navy guy that was also a RDC at one point. John had fun shooting the breeze with him while we would were looking at the houses).
