Dh just called me and I got to talk to him for like twenty minutes. Then he called a little while later and we got to talk for ten minutes. All three of the kids were able to talk for a good amount of time. He made some sort of leader thing...he was a band around his arm to show it. Sorry I dont remember what he said it was called. He has the chance to go to airborne school but he doesnt know if he wants to. I was like a giddy school girl after I got off the phone with him :giggle I still feel all happy and elated! :yay He is doing great and already way past the requirments for graduation. It was so wonderful to hear his voice for so long. I did not even cry at all untill he had to say good bye on the second phone call. I am just on :cloud9right now. :happy :happy :woot

My dh is a platoon leader also and I am loving it....I get extra calls!!! :yay for calls!!!

I love that feeling... So much exciting news for you! Congrats on him for getting that leadership thing. I know they get really excited DB got a leadership thing( totally don't know the name) But he was soooooo excited!
