DH and I got married on grad day, he is on a plane atm to his ait...it's 7 months long, and we have heard that spouses may be able to move there with them, as long as the ait is over 6 months... How possible is this, and how long do you think it will take to get me out there? I am totally clueless on the situation and really just like some clarification if anyone knows...

You'd have to ask his recruiter. I can't give you a direct yes or no because it's a case by case basis. I HAVE heard of that: linguists have a year long AIT and some have their families move near them, but again, you'd have to ask his recruiter or his commanding officer.

I know if it's long enough you can, but it's his command that decides for sure (or at least that's what I was told).

Once he gets there they should be able to tell him...trust me he's not going to be the only one asking

Ok...good news! :D I can go live with him and it'll be a couple weeks till we can get me out there! :D I am sooooooo excited! :) We get more of the exact details on Monday I can't wait :)
