So how (do we) /(does he) go about finding a house there or being put on a waiting list since we need AT LEAST 3/4 bedrooms ( we have 2 girls and a boy) and I know that can take awhile And how do we find out about moving, our things, our vehicles, do we have to drive them or haul them, etc. Any info or a website to answer some of this would be great! Contact you new duty station (their website should have all the numbers you need) and they should be able to help you with all your questions.

Also, if you are planning on living on post often your name does not get put on the waiting list until you are physically there.

Call the nearest base to where you live now and ask for the number for the transportation office. They will help you get your household good shipped. :yes You will need to have a copy of his orders in hand when you meet with them.
