I posted a thread yesterday about not wanting to bother my boyfriend as he prepares for deployment. Well since I learned of his pending departure we had not spoken by phone in almost 2 weeks, just text. Well this morning he called and we had a good conversation. We laughted and joked and I kelp the conversation light.

As suggested, I did not fuss or complain or as he calls it "trip". I am reading as much information as I can about deployments and how I might be of a support to him during this time.

As we hung up neither one of us said " I love you". I immediately sent him a text that said " I love you". I thought that he would have texted me back but guess what? He called back as he was boarding the plane and said " I love you too". I will call you later.

I'm so thankful that I am learning to relax and just wait on him.

awww, I'm glad you had such a nice conversation with him. That would be hard on me to hold back my feelings like that. How are you doing now, since it's been a few weeks since you posted?
