Nope! We were planning to but it will just be cheaper for DH to come here. We weren't sure for a bit when they were going to be home & we didn't want to wait until the last minute to make plans. And on top of that, DS has been dealing with a torn ligament in his right knee & a broken left ankle & is just not in good enough shape to travel! :( So it would just be easier if he came here!

I will be out there for my birthday & then Navy Ball, though! :tu

What a pain in the rear, eh?! I'm thankful they atleast told us when they did & we were able to get him a cheap plane ticket. But it drove me bonkers with the extention & then not knowing. It wouldn't bother me so much if the kids wouldn't ask constantly if I had heard, yet! :duh lol

hey its an excel spreadsheet that tracks the % of time you have left on deployment, just google "donut of misery" and it should be the first file that pops up. Just save it and put in your dates and it will spit out a % for you and track how many days etc that you have done, and how much you have left
