so our final inspection for our house was supposed to be mon. at 1:30 but we wanted to try and leave a lot earlier..so i go up to the housing office today and say...

Hey i'm so and so and we're supposed to have an inspection at this date and time...the guy looks in the book and we aren't written down:arg ...the person who completed DH's paperwork forgot to write it down in the schedule book...so if i hadn't gone up there we wouldn't have had our inspection that day... would have just been waiting around and lost an entire day...:no

luckily it all turned out alright and i was able to get it scheduled for way earlier too...so we don't have to wait so late....:)

i know right....it really would have sucked to just have been standing around waiting for nothing...i would have been pissed..
