Last night i so desperatly needed to be close to Ryan so i sprayed his side of the bed with his cologne.........

only problem when i woke up this morning i thought he was there and reached for him.........

he wasn't there......:tears

Now im sat in his Texas long horn hoodie.............

What do you girls do when you need to feel close to your SO??

I do the same thing. That or read letters, about 1000 times, that he has written to me.

I do that all the time... I even left his sweatshirt in his spot so if I reach out for him, there's something there.

I kept a shirt of his that he wore before he left - I use to put it on his pillow and snuggle up to it at night. :giggle

I sleep with his sweatshirt every night and listen to my saved voice mails on my phone when I am missing him.

i make sure he wears a shirt for 3 days before he left..and then i spray it with his perfume and then put over a pillow and hug it at night....it makes me feel closer to him....
i miss him loads now:(

I definitely wear his clothes :) I haven't tried the cologne one yet, I've had my dog sleeping with me, so I have a warm body that hogs the bed :giggle

I would always wear Chad's old PT shirt, his company T-Shirt or one of his old work shirts. It was even complete with a nice grease stain on the sleeve lol

A lot of times I'll even look through old pictures and re-read old letters.

I live in DHs sweats and have 3 uniforms where i can see them and I do wear his colone just to close my eyes and pretend he is right beside me

I have a t-shirt of his that I sleep in... and when I'm really missing him, I put his cologne on the sailor build-a-bear that I cuddle with at night.

Seth an I send a memory card back and forth...he puts it in his camera and takes pictures and videos...sends it to me....I load them onto the computer then I take pictures and videos an send them to him :) there's one video where he says
"I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE YOU BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABY" (inside joke, but so cute) an I love watching it when I miss him so much!

7 more months of that :(

I have several shirts/sweatshirts/fleeces of his that I wear and - since I like to hug him when I am sleeping - I have another one that smells exactly like him over a pillow! I also reread a ton of old emails and text messages from him that I have saved.

I really like the memory card idea!! Might just have to steal that one for our deployment ;)

i have a picture that stays on my bed next to me and i put his tshirt on a pillow and sleep in one of his shirts and with his teddybear =] doesnt make it better, but okay maybe a litttleeee bit!

I wear his tshirts every night to bed. Problem is last Friday night I wore his redsox one and was cleaning in the morning and got bleach all over it :wowsers and its one of his favs yikes!!!!!!!!

I also read his emails over and over lol.

I spray his axe on a teddy bear he gave me.
He cuddles with me all night, then I kinda pack him around with me, no matter where I go lol.
He even has his own spot in my car.

oh god, who hasn't done that? I feel like such a loser whenever I break his cologne out, but hey, it makes me feel better!

I look at pics. I re-read old e-mails, text messages, and IMs. I listen(ed) to an old voicemail message (which I accidentally deleted!!!! :arg:tears Now I just call his voicemail!). I sit on the couch in the spot that he always sits in. I lay down on his side of the bed. I smell the soap that he uses when he's at my place. The bar is still sitting in my shower. I can't bear to take it out.

I wish I had snagged one of his shirts before he left. I definitely will before his next deployment. And i wish he wore cologne. i love the idea of spraying it as a reminder. But he doesn't. Oh well. :)

I am sneaky! When I go up to see him again, right before he deploys, I am going to root through his laundry and steal whatever I can get my hands on! :giggle
I also have kept a bottle of his cologne and will be spraying it on my pillow at night.
My fur-baby will keep me warm :P

I spray his cologne and look at pictures all the time :sigh

oh and I also have 2 of his tshirts I wear alot and one of his dog tags

He doesnt wear cologne which sucks cause i always want to smell him! He gave me a stuffed tiger in high school that i snuggle with at night, I have looked through his pictures a gazillion times, he gave me a necklace that says "I belong to a Marine" that I grip when ever i think about him, i made a cd of songs that remind him of me and vice versa, i also have a dvd of his goodbye party that i cant bring myself to watch :no i think every one does and tries everything to try to feel closer to them :sigh

I wear Kev's pt clothes and sweatshirts...
and wash my clothes in the detergent he uses.

Also...ok maybe this is gross...but I wear his boxer briefs to bed alot! lol

I have his car since he's been gone... and I always spray his cologne in the car because thats what he always used to do... wait till he got in the car to put cologne on because thats where he kept it. So his car would always smell like armani... yummy. So now when I'm driving in the car by myself and missing him like crazy... I get it out and spray it and imagine he's there. :)

I listen to his voicemails over and over. I miss his voice....so much.
